Nothing Can Stop me I'm All the Way Up...at least that's what I thought...

Picture yourself exactly half way up a 2,388 ft (above sea level) Volcano, 100 degrees, heat stroke, okay maybe not heat stroke, but heat exhaustion....2 hours in, with possibly another 2 hours to go- Uphill. This was where I found myself August 2019...the summer of dreams. I call it the Summer of Dreams because I tend to challenge myself when I know there is growth involved, or more directly, when Service is involved. Found this quote once and it changed my life...
"The best antidote I know for worry is work.
The best cure for weariness is the challenge
of helping someone who is even more tired.
One of the great ironies of life is this: He or She
who Serves almost always benefits more than he
or she who is served."
~G.B. Hinckley

You see this trip out of all my many travels was special because it aligns with my passions of mission work. When God talks, I truly try and listen...what was that now? Go where, do what, help who? Lol. Well it wasn't that quite deliberate but it felt right in my Soul and to me that's good enough. I have dedicated myself to take a Medical Mission trip once ever 2 years.

This year in August 2019, I boarded a plane to Nicaragua and ended up on an incredible adventure where I served side by side with a group of Nurse whom I'd have never met but grew to Love. Together we not only conquered Cerro Negro and all it's challenging glory, but we bonded, gave selflessly, pushed our bodies to the limit, and tapped into our Nursing Aura and diagnosed and cured the people of La Danta of Parasites.

Came here looking for Nothing & Everything! Sometimes you have to show up somewhere with an open Heart and see what the World has for you!
Together on this Volcano we formed an unexpected Bond.
